We are now in the process of editing and compiling the accepted submissions and author bio’s as we prepare them for publication. Also working on a bloody good cover etc. *evil grin*

What IS this thing called Dark Fiction
Truthfully, it varies across the web by definition, but here’s our general take on what it means to us.
Dark Fiction can be highly entertaining, funny even, BUT it should always maintain an element of depth. It should be thought provoking enough to accomplish one thing; make us stew over it for days!
In the hands of one writer, it could be full of blood and guts and gore, while in another’s, a quietly creepy emotional journey.
Long story short, dark fiction should leave us feeling disturbed, but in all the right ways. So send in your submissions that’ll make us quesy, make us cringe, surpise us, make us a little green around the gills.
Do your best make us sleep with one eye open…or better yet, not at all.
We DARE you!

Bleeding Ink Anthology Accepting Story Submissions
Psst… yes I’m talking to you! Do you have a dark or twisted story to tell?
Whew! Well that’s good because we here at Bleeding Ink are now accepting submissions of all styles to fill the pages of our new and exciting anthology. We welcome any and all writers, new and experienced alike so spread the word! 
All we ask is that your work leaves the reader lingering over your tales long after they’ve put the book down.
So check out our submission guidelines page and send us your creepy, twisted, deep, dark, impactful, stories, poems, flash fiction, and prose. A little something warped for all to enjoy.
Our MISSION: Create an anthology comprised of quality work that our authors will be proud to be a part of.

Bleeding Ink Post #1
We here at The Ink Babes are almost ready to roll this puppy out. It has taken much thought and research to prepare for this little darkling of ours but we undertook the project knowing exactly what we wanted to accomplish with it. We believe that what we’ve done here is provide a setting for ourselves and other writers to showcase some wonderfully dark and thought provoking stories, and we also hope that this is the first of many projects to come.
Yes, we write for ourselves, because we love it, but we also write to share our ideas and our creative thoughts, characters, plots and fantasies with others who enjoy reading these types of stories and poems.
Supernatural, witches, werewolves, vampires, ghosts, necromancers, fairies, death, blood, gore, goth, creatures, apocalypse, and anything else with dark undertones are welcome here.
Our pages aren’t filled with romance or sex, but stories hell bent on making the reader think about what is possible outside of the real world.
As Tammy would say, combining all our thoughts and ideas was like creating a winning hockey team, lots of hard work and plenty of sweat. Pat would say, it was like designing a dress, plan, cut, put it together, cut some more, then finish it off. Lisa would say, it ended up coming together like a well rehearsed song. And then we all said, lets send it out into the world and see what kind of magic happens.
We hope to share our thoughts with you now and then about this project and its progress so be sure to ‘follow’ us. We’re working on some wonderful marketing concepts, giveaways, and teasers too!
We hope you’ll share our enthusiasm for this anthology as we look forward to producing something for you that is unique and impactful to readers everywhere.
